Gao Zhi Yong was born in Canton, China in 1980. He graduated from the JiLin Art School and quickly became a raising star in the chinese art community after debuting his painting "A small town at the foot of the Mountain of Heaven" at a local art exhibition. Watercolour is his speciality and landscape paintings are his passion. Married with two young children, he ofter travels with them around China to seek inspiration for his work. He is particularly drawn to small villages where one can witness rural nature without the contamination of modernisation.
